This course responds to the mission of the National Police College of Jamaica’ strategic plan to create an enabling environment to support, foster and increase the output of high quality research and innovation in police studies with an emphasis on police training and police professionalization in the Caribbean.
This course aims to introduce participants to the skills required to engage in forensic investigation. This includes but is not limited to identifying and analyzing documents, collecting, processing and preserving various types of material that may be of evidential value. It is designed to develop participant's knowledge, skills and attitude as it relates to Scientific Investigation particularly its uses in the Criminal Justice System.
