Year 1 - Semester 2

This course is designed to provide students with a comprehensive introduction to the range of 
decisions encountered by managers in business organizations. Emphasis will be placed on the 
application of the theories of management with a view of highlighting the managerial functions. 
The major areas of focus, however, will be placed on the application of these theories to the 
practice of effectively and efficiently managing police organizations within today’s complex 
environment.
