Information Technology
Technology is the study, design, development, implementation, support and management of computer-based information systems, including software applications and computer hardware. The CAPE Information Technology Syllabus will enable students to use technology to participate in, and contribute to the new technological world. They will become conscious of the impact of Information and Communication Technologies, and how the appropriate use of Information Technology can help to solve the problems, including those of an economic, social or personal nature.
This syllabus emphasizes the importance of Information Technology to the economic and social development of the region.
This course is designed to stimulate an interest in the foundation of Music Theory and individual Practicianship, allowing students to explore, read and synthesize different musical topics in an attempt to develop skills in relation to music reading, writing and playing.
The course will surround the concepts of Music Theory in relation to the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) grades 1 to 3 syllabuses, and will facilitate a thorough understanding of music at the aforementioned levels with steady course assessments and evaluations, with a culminating examination at the end of the school year.
